Definitions for Credit Carry Forward, Expense Carry Forward and No Carry Forward
With Credit Carry Forward, if you have unused credits you haven't claimed before your benefit year ends, they will transfer over to the new benefit year for a maximum of one year.
This means credits from two years ago will not transfer over.
With Expense Carry Forward, unused credits you haven't claimed before your benefit year ends do not transfer over to your new benefit year. However, you have a longer period to claim receipts. You can claim last benefit year's expenses in the new benefit year, using new benefit year credits.
With No Carry Forward, unused credits you haven't claimed before your benefit year ends do not transfer over to your new benefit year. And you can only claim expenses incurred during the current, open benefit period.
