Here is an overview of what we'll cover in this article.
To find out which 'carry-forward' you have:
Plan Administrators - Login to your account, go to 'Base Plan Details' from your main menu, and then locate the '
Employees - Login to your online account (this information is not found on the mobile app), and then locate the (i) in your limit box.
Click into it, and find the section that confirms your 'carry forward' type. The example below has 'Credit Carry Forward.'
Credit Carry Forward
If you have unused credits you haven't claimed before your benefit year ends, they will transfer over to new benefit year for a maximum of one year.
This means credits from two years ago will not transfer over.
Expense Carry Forward
Unused credits you haven't claimed before your benefit year ends DO NOT transfer over to your new benefit year. However, you have a longer period to claim receipts.
You can claim last benefit year's expenses in the new benefit year, using new benefit year credits.
No Carry Forward
Unused credits you haven't claimed before your benefit year ends DO NOT transfer over to your new benefit year. And you can ONLY claim expenses incurred during the current, open benefit period.
Plan administrators - if you wish to change the 'carry-forward' on the account you must contact support@nationalhealthclaim.com to see it is allowable.
